This mountain is the absolute jewel in Hobart's beautiful city landscape.
Travelling from the sea level to the 1,271m of the summit will take about 30 minutes.
As you take in the scenic views from both sides of the road you will be greeted with great Eucalyptus trees and thick pristine forests.
Once you reach the summit your breath will be taken away by the panoramic 360-degree views. These views include Hobart's Derwent Estuary and to the west the world heritage listed wilderness area.
There will be many Instagram worthy photos as you soak in the atmosphere and explore the mountain top. It is highly recommended to return again for opportunity to enjoy the many walking tracks or even abseiling/rock climbing.
