Less than three passengers on any booking day will, unfortunately, result in the tour being cancelled. Customer will receive a full refund.

Hobart Explore reserves the right to amend itineraries or cancel tours. This is usually due to adverse and unforeseen weather conditions as well as unavoidable road closures. Unsafe conditions such as Bushfires, ice, snow, extreme wind and rain, and unavoidable closures of attractions. Tours may also be cancelled, amended or delayed due to mechanical failure and driver illness. Hobart Explore makes available information, materials and products on this website, subject to the following terms and conditions. By accessing this site, you agree to the terms and conditions as outlined in this legal notice. Hobart Explore reserves the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time at its sole discretion. Except as specifically permitted herein,no portion of the information on this website may be reproduced in any form or by any means without the prior written permission from Hobart Explore. Except as expressly provided otherwise in an agreement between you and Hobart Explore, all information, designs and material on this website are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Hobart Explore assumes no responsibility for errors or omissions in the information or software or other documents which are referenced by or linked to this website.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Hobart Explore is dedicated to keeping your details private.any information, we collect in relation to you is kept strictly secured. We do not pass on,sell or swap any of your personal details with anyone. Hobart Explore protects your personal information, such as your name and address. Please note that Hobart Explore does not want to receive confidential information from you through our website. Hobart Explore has a privacy statement/policy.

Complaints

Customers have the right to make complaints. Positive or negative complaint can be directed to enquires@hobartexplore.com.au. Hobart Explore has a complaint policy/statement.

Vehicle Specifications

Vehicle specifications are subject to change without notice and will be subject to availability at time of booking. If Hobart Explore is unable to provide transport with our own vehicles, we will endeavor to reach out and outsource another vehicle to meet your booking requirements. Our vehicles will not travel on any roads that are inaccessible, that could damage vehicle or put passengers at risk. The operation of all Hobart Explore vehicles fall within the transport regulations and accreditation of department of state growth Tasmania.

Conduct of Passengers

The client who did booking is responsible for the conduct of passengers and for any damage caused to vehicle during the hire. The driver has the right to refuse transport to persons under the heavy influence of drugs or alcohol. Objectionable passengers showing unacceptable behaviour such abuse or aggression to other people on or off the vehicle will not be tolerated. Passengers are only given one warning to amend their behaviour or the driver has the right to ask that offending person remove from the bus or terminate the hire immediately. At no time should passengers throw objects out of windows or have any part of their body outside vehicle. Strictly no smoking, consumption of chocolate, alcohol or use of glass bottles whilst on vehicle. Seat belts must be worn all times unless parked.

Cleaning and Damage

Should there be any damage to the vehicle or if the vehicle needs to be cleaned by driver,staff or professionally cleaned,this cost will be the responsibility of the passengers. In case of a vehicle hire their is a $300 bond levied for the booking to cover damage to vehicle or excessive rubbish/mess. Your responsibility for any damage is in accordance with these terms and conditions.

Payments and Bookings

Payment Options:
a) Direct bank transfer.
b) Credit/debit cards (Visa or Mastercard) - Note a 3% fee applies to value of booking.
c) PayPal - Applies a 3.5% fee. Hobart Explore reserves the right to pass on, without notice, any entry fees or parking charges. In the event that you cancel your event booking Hobart Explore reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee as follows: Event bookings cancelled within 24 hours of the pick up time will be charged 100% of the value of the booking. Event bookings cancelled greater than 72 hours of pick up time will incur a loss of the holding/booking fee. Full payment for a event booking is to be settled 7 days prior to booking date,if payment is not been received 7 days prior to booking date Hobart Explore reserves the right to cancel the booking & possibility of of applying policy of keeping booking/holding fee. There is substantial risk to Hobart Explore as we have organised a vehicle for your booking and turned down bookings for vehicle to be allocated to you. Once you have confirmed a booking, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions and are liable for losing your booking/holding fee. There are many costs associated with holding vehicles for a booking and opportunity to make future bookings. Any amendments to your booking after confirmation can only be accepted subject to availability. Hobart Explore reserves the right to charge an amendment fee in respect of any change to your booking. All change requests must be submitted in writing via email enquiries@hobartexplore.com.au by the customer who made the original event booking. Overtime rates are charged at $50.00 for 30 minute intervals. Waiting time will be charged as a additional cost depending on circumstances. This includes taking too long to organise/load your group, traffic, hazards or unforeseen incidents or hazards. We reserve the right to recover owed monies and outsource the debt to an external collection agency.

Payment and recovery costs

In the event a customer fails to pay for the services rendered by Hobart Explore, the debtor will pay for all costs actually incurred by Hobart Explore in the recovery of any monies owed,costs of recovery include recovery debt agent costs. We reserve the right to take legal action to recover owed monies and outsource the debt to a collection agency.

Tour Refund Policy

Hobart Explore may need to cancel the tour if circumstances are beyond our control. The traveller will be offered a full refund or if agreeable your tour can be rebooked for a future date. Travellers have free cancellation up to 48 hours before the tour date. A 100% cancellation fee applies for tour cancelled within 24 hours of the departure date.
